Hi people, meet my best buddy, Kooi Heng. One night we were out for dinner and I noticed her stylish outfit, so I just took her pictures. We were friends since 12 years old but only got really close at 14. She's one person you can really count on and one of the most patient people I've ever met. She hardly gets angry, in fact, I could not recall the last time she throws her tantrum. We hang out very often and she is such an inspiration to many. People from the past triggers me from time to time. One of them whom I love dearly is my Grandmother, the mother of my father. She left us in 1996 because of cancer, a deadly desease in deed. I remember she used to adore me alot, making dinners for me and boy I miss her cooking. She's fierce but loving at the same time. I wish I could spend more time with her. She will always be missed. And you wonder why is this post specially dedicated for her. It's because I'm wearing her top, the one and only top I have as a remembrance from her.

Happy Birthday Jo Vin!

I had a birthday dinner with Jo last week at a cozy restaurant at Desa Park City. You know what's funny? He had 3 cakes that night, thanks to an unplanned plan. Haha... So thoughtful of our friends.

City Rush

Last Monday, Avon had a launch on their latest fragrance, City Rush Eau Da Parfum. The scent that represents the women of today - powerful, bold and turn the street way to her own runway. The global face for this fragrance is Milla Jovovich, remember the Resident Evil heroin? Yeap, she fits very well with the brand and scent. I personally like the smell because it is sexy and spicy, very allurring.. mmm..

The dress code was Glitter Street Chic, this is what I wore that night.

I did my own make up that night, tried to elaborate my eyes. Hope I did a good job. Do you agree with me that eye liners are one of the best cosmetic inventions? :)

Cleopatra

Recently, I've attended a friend's wedding and I wore this black V neck dress which to me looks like a Cleopatra dress.

Just Outside

I finally had someone took these lovely pictures for me. Special thanks to my dear friend, Eileen. She was the one who shot the Hawaii Night outfit too. I like the natural light of the sun, it really make the pictures whole lot better. During weekdays, I have difficulties taking pictures by myself and am shy to ask my colleagues help. Oh well, I guess I can only take these beautiful shots during weekend then. Perhaps a home studio would be a great idea. Hmm...

Anyway, I am glad that I had an extra day during the weekend. I got myself occupied by visiting my friend at Subang, Wei Teing's new home and spent time with May after that. Wei Teing has a lovely and humble home. The house was a wreck before that but Wei Teing and husband, Gan had done a great job on the renovation. Wei Teing and Gan prepared a delicious American breakfast for us - May, Alwin, Adeline. How nice!

Cut Outs

I always have trouble finding a right bottom for this yellow top. Finally, I decided to match it with this knitted skirt. And I am getting cozy with my mum's clogs. They are super comfortable. The heels were broken once, I fixed them by nailing them. It's a waste to just throw them away. I think this is one of the first pair of heels I started wearing because I took them from mum. Kind of sentimental to me as well.
